2009 D-League All-Star – The Red Team Cruises Past the Blue, James White Wins Slam Dunk Champs, and More

2009 NBA D-League All-Star

Here is another update. This time not from the NBA, but from the 2009 NBA D-League All-Star.

2009 D-League All-Star game

Dakota’s Blake Ahearn and Iowa’s Courtney Sims were co-MVP in 2009 D-League All-Star game, as their team, the Red, cruises past the Blue 113-103.

Blake Ahearn dishes 13 assists, while scoring 13 points for the Red team. On the other hand, Courtney Sims grabs 8 boards, along with 15 points and 4 block shots. If I were to pick, I’d chose Blake as the MVP, not Courtney – Sorry, bro!

2009 Dream Factory

In 2009 Dream Factory featuring Slam Dunk Competition, Three-Point Shoot Out and H.O.R.S.E game, James White soars to grab the Slam Dunk Competition Title, while Blake Ahearn grabbed the 3-Point Shoot-Out title and Will Conroy the H.O.R.S.E. game title.

To note – In this year D-League All-Star event, Blake Ahearn garners some attentions (hopefully from the NBA scouts) as he grabs the co-MVP award of the All-Star game, as well as the 3-Point Shoot-Out crown. Plus, last week, Blake averages 29.7 points per game in Dakota wizards’ 3 wins.

Calling NBA scout, calling NBA scout! My man Blake could use some 10-days contract in your affiliate teams – NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies and Washington Wizards team…
