celtics thunder nba trade

I’m no NBA expert, but I am a fan of many NBA teams. I am a new fan of OKC Thunder, and all I can see that the recent NBA trade involving Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder are beneficial for both team – it’s a good trade.

Boston’s Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson are sent to Oklahoma City for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic.

Nenad Krstic starts with the Celtics well, starting all 4 games so far at center position, delivering 11 points per game with 5+ rebounds per game in 24 minutes per game. He can also play the power forward position well.

Jeff Green is a versatile swingman able to back up both Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. Losing the starting job he had with the OKC for one obvious reason, he is coming off the bench averaging almost 10 points per game.

Kendrick Perkins is a strong center that brings presence in the paint. The 6’10″ – 280 lbs. center can rebounds and blocks the ball well – a great complement to Durant and Westbrook shootings and drivings.

Nate Robinson the NBA slam dunk champion can add aggressiveness to OKC already-aggressive offense game. He will definitely sit behind Russell Westbrook, maintaining the offensive energy at point guard position while Westbrook is taking a rest in the bench.

Both NBA teams will benefit from the trade, but I think OKC will benefit more as Perkins adds size and muscles on the paint. Kevin Durant will play at small forward position, while Serge Ibaka will enjoy more starting time at power forward position. I don’t think the Thunder will miss Jeff and Nenad.
