Old schools always present you with something interesting – sometimes hilarious. This time, Barkley commented on Jordan’s mustache in an exclusive interview. Barkley says to the interviewer about Jordan’s mustache, “that was not good.” Sir Charles, this time I have to agree with you – it’s darn ugly. Sir Charles – keep on giving us great comments, man! NBA basketball is a bit boring these days – the steroids, the rivalries, the drama. Where’s the fun in basketball?

One of the reason why I fave Blake Griffin to win the 2011 NBA Sprite Slam Dunk Contest is because he dunks so ferociously, that even the master of power dunk, Amar’e Stoudemire himself gives Blake a nod. NBA basketball at its best – check out this video that has gone viral on the web, showing what an NBA game is all about: Competitiveness and respect. This is NBA Basketball, y’all!

Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Charlotte Bobcats 92-87 in their first 2009 NBA Preseason game. Never mind who win the game and the fact that no Cavs’ baller plays more than 16 minutes – The highlight is on LeBron – Shaq combo. It turned out that LeBron and Shaq play well together as a team – something that is well needed to push the Cavs for 2010 NBA Finals spot. LeBron James put up a 15 points, 2 steals and 1 assist in 16 minutes while Shaquille O’Neal scored 6, along with 3 boards and 1 block. Shaq send the message early to all of Cavs’ opponents – He drives to the hoop, overpowering the Bobcats’ Point Guard D.J. Augustin for an offensive foul – Luckily, D.J. can stand up before the ref. counted to 10. Here is some action from the preseason game: Cavs are surely the one to watch – Beware, Orlando Magic! Image by NBA.com

Guy Dupuy shows off his “new dunk” in London’s Nike Midnight Madness – What’s so special? A dunk history in the making, I agree with J.E. – I never knew someone has ever did and off-the-bounce-over someone standing-between-the-legs dunk in one action. Words won’t be enough to describe – Let’s just watch the vid and let me know what you think of it. My opinion: Sick-o!

The moment Seattle lost the NBA franchise, I knew that money and power rules the NBA so much, that a great basketball city of Seattle can lose the Sonics. If Toronto or Vancouver lost their basketball team, I wouldn’t be too surprised. But Seattle? Disappointing. The NBA is there because of the fans – No fans, no pro-basketball hypes. No hype, no endorsement or sponsorship money whatsoever. How could they listen to a businessman bringing the team from the Seattle to OKC instead of the loyal fans? Luckily, Seattle has Gary Payton. The Glove will always be a Sonic despite he played for several different team approaching the dawn of his career. In fact, GP is one of those that are willing to fight to get NBA back to the city of Seattle. Maybe that’s rooted to his defensive tenacity that earned him the nickname “The Glove.” This FanHouse exclusive video tells you a bit about what The Glove is doing to bring NBA back to Seattle in 2012 when the NBA will open up another chance for a city to have an NBA team. We are all with you, GP!

Competitive basketball is a tough sport with extreme intensity – You have to be aggressive and resilient to win the ball game. Unfortunately, International basketball games are stained and becoming known for the sideshows – Brawl between two competing national basketball team – Note the word: International. I don’t know how about you, but a national basketball team (should) comprise of the best ballers in the country. If the best can’t keep their cool and maintain their professionalism, what about the rest? NBA basketball players are often preyed in their off-court life. Although I agree that drugs, dopes, guns and brawls done by NBA ballers will soon enough make the spotlight the next day, I’m sure that NBA ballers are the best when it comes to professionalism. Something that the brawling national teams have to learn about. Sure, NBA’s Z-Bo, AI and some others are bad boys – But they are professionals approaching a ball game. Mr. Barkley – One of the great Power Forwards NBA have – himself, despite the trash talks, is a role model to me (in a good way…) Here is a video showing you the big picture of International basketball game, and a reason why [...]

Ray Allen, no doubt, is one of the best shooter in the NBA. I stumble on this video, actually created about three years ago, showcasing Ray Allen, who is giving some valuable tips on how to jump shoot and increase your in-game jump shooting consistency. He offer basics tips, including the importance of using the “follow through” after you release the ball at the top of your jump. He also offer some practice tips to hone your jump shooting skills and increase your consistency from the court – “Minus 1, Plus 2″, off-screen shooting, and more. My best pick is Ray’s “Minus 1, Plus 2″ shooting drill. The drill is aimed to help you in increasing your shooting accuracy and consistency in mid-range shooting. Here’s how: You can run around the outer part of the key or slide from left-to-right side or vice versa of the free throw line. You shoot everytime you reach the corner. Each time you make your shot, +1 point for you; each time you miss, -2 points for you. If you reach -10, you’re out. Please watch this useful video. Thanks for the tips, Ray!

Orlando Magic makes some great off-season moves, sparked with the acquisition of Vince Carter. This time, they are adding depth to their bench with the signing of Jason Williams a.k.a. the White Boy, who decided a year ago to make a comeback to the NBA. In 10 NBA seasons with Sacramento, Memphis and Miami, Jason averages 11.4 points and 6.3 assists. He was also a member of the 2005-06 Miami Heat championship team. With the already deep bench with the presence of Matt Barnes, Ryan Anderson, Marcin Gortat, Mickael Pietrus and a rising sophomore star Courtney Lee, the Magic is looking for a seasoned leader they are finally found in Jason Williams. Let us hope Jason still has the leg and stamina he once has. Another Eastern Conference Champion Title for the Magic, maybe? In the mean time, here is Jason Williams’ basketball video compilation to refresh your memory a bit about what the guy can do with a basketball.
