No wonder the NBA is the best basketball league in the world. It has the best teams the best players and the best lifestyles. One more thing – The best news makers.
Delonte West is one of the news makers. Unfortunately, he is in the other side of the bridge. He joined the Z-Bo (Zach Randolph) and the rest of NBA’s bad boys club (including the bad boy’s superstar, Allen Iverson) as an NBA player who makes the news in a bad way – In his case, speeding and gun possession.
As reported by NBA Fanhouse, West was arrested after he cut off a police officer with his three-wheeled motorcycle; after he was stopped, West told the police officer that he possessed a gun (which eventually turned out that he had 3 guns.)
As typical it may be, but NBA stardom’s pressure is huge. Only the strong can survive the pressure, and this is why the NBA teams need to take care of their players well – e.g. hiring coaches who have excellent people skills, hiring veteran players who can guide young talents, and others.
As an NBA baller, Delonte West himself possesses a great potential to play both guard position. Unfortunately, personal problems and, probably, opportunities limit his chances. Nevertheless, he managed to produce good numbers, playing for a strong team, the Cavs – 11.7 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, 3.5 assists per game and he registers 1.5 steals a night, all in 33.6 minutes per game.
