Dwyane Wade was having a migraine and decided to wear his tinted eyewear to reduce the symptoms before the Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks game. Unfortunately NBA bans the tinted goggle, arguing that it will give him an advantage because players on the other team won’t be able to see his eyes’ movements.
So, the NBA officials recommend Wade to choose one of the NBA-approved eyewears – which he did. Too bad – using NBA-approved eyewear hurts Wade’s game real bad.
So I guess the NBA thinks that it’s better for Wade to play a bad game that causes the Heat to lose, which they do – the Heat gave up to the Knicks 88 to 93, with Wade missing all of his 7 field goal attempts in the 4th quarter, while only getting 8 out of 14 free throws.
Ouch.
