How Gary Payton will Bring NBA Back to Seattle

Gary Payton vs. Michael Jordan

The moment Seattle lost the NBA franchise, I knew that money and power rules the NBA so much, that a great basketball city of Seattle can lose the Sonics. If Toronto or Vancouver lost their basketball team, I wouldn’t be too surprised. But Seattle? Disappointing.

The NBA is there because of the fans – No fans, no pro-basketball hypes. No hype, no endorsement or sponsorship money whatsoever. How could they listen to a businessman bringing the team from the Seattle to OKC instead of the loyal fans?

Luckily, Seattle has Gary Payton. The Glove will always be a Sonic despite he played for several different team approaching the dawn of his career. In fact, GP is one of those that are willing to fight to get NBA back to the city of Seattle. Maybe that’s rooted to his defensive tenacity that earned him the nickname “The Glove.”

This FanHouse exclusive video tells you a bit about what The Glove is doing to bring NBA back to Seattle in 2012 when the NBA will open up another chance for a city to have an NBA team. We are all with you, GP!
