kevin love nba all star west

My man Kevin Love is finally getting his due – the rebounding monster will play in 2011 NBA West All-Star team roster replacing the injured Yao Ming of Houston Rockets.

In my previous blog post, I question Coach Pop’s decision to choose Blake Griffin over Kevin Love, but now it all seem to make sense – thanks to the much-criticized NBA Commissioner, David Stern. Apparently, Mr. Stern has a keen eye for quality.

How so? Well, Kevin Love IS the NBA Number One Rebounder in 2010-2011 season with an average of 15.5 rebounds per game. A category leader not being chosen to play in All-Star game is a crime. Plus, Mr. Love is delivering more than just rebounds – as a forward-center combo, he averages 21.3 points per game, a big man with great range and accuracy (shooting 68 of 154 from the three point line – 44.2 percent) with a 87 percent from the free throw line.

Let’s see how the stats add up in the 2011 NBA All-Star game.
