While surfing the Web today, I stumbled on basketball shoes that are not really that cool, but have an interesting feat that should attract environmentally conscious ballers out there.
Nike Dunk High – Black/Neutral Grey-Hoop Orange is constructed using hemp material and extracted basketball rim.
Despite the negative association of hemp to Cannabis, it is used nevertheless as the grey side panel of the shoes. The orange color of the shoes is extracted by a basketball rim. Talk about environmentally friendly!
