ray allen

Ray Allen has finally exceeded Reggie Miller’s NBA record for the most career three-pointers (2,560) during a Boston Celtics vs. LA Lakers game (Lakers win 92-86.) He is shooting 39.8% from down town in his 14 NBA seasons so far.

Ray Allen is great player. Many consider that his game is only about three-point shooting, but he’s more than that. I remember watching Ray Allen in his first five NBA seasons, and his game is all-around – driving, slashing, dunking, shooting… everything offensive coming from Ray Allen is spectacular.

He is 36 years old this year, and the changes in his physical push him to focus more on shooting – in this case, three-point shooting – than physical game, such as slashing and driving to the basket. At 36, he is very fit, playing more than 35 minutes per game – he’s going to be in the L for quite a long time, I suppose.
