There are some talks regarding the possible trade for Steve Nash as the Suns are going to rearrange things to stop losing like the way they do this NBA regular season. Will the effective Steve Nash basketball is no longer the Suns’?
To me, Steve Nash is Phoenix Suns. Amar’e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion can go, but if the Suns lost Nash, so there goes the whole franchise. He is soon to be 37, but just like quality wines, Steve is becoming more effective as he grows old (well, he HAS to pursue effectiveness and efficiency because his body won’t respond as well as when he was 22.)
Statistically-wise, Nash is a superhuman-like, considering his age. As of today, Steve Nash has played all Suns’ 41 games as a starter for 32.9 minutes per game, shooting 52.5% from the floor with 39.6% from downtown; his 91.8% from the charity stripe ranks him #3 in the league. He adds 3.6 rebounds per game and 10.9 assists per game (#2 in NBA.)
As the potential NBA teams for Nash, Randy Hill of FoxSportsArizona.com predicted that the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks have better trade possibilities among others?
