The Worst Starter in 2010 NBA Season

"Ericka" Dampier - Shaq's vote on the worst NBA starter 2010

I stumble on the article in Dime Magazine Online that analyzes the possibilities of those that may become the worst starter in 2010 NBA Season.

The highlight is on Detroit Piston’s Center position, a gaping hole left by the departure of Rasheed Wallace. Entering the NBA Training Camp, the Pistons are with three choices at Center: Kwame Brown, Chris Wilcox and Ben Wallace.

While the three of them could share minutes at Center, whoever starts at Center would largely be an overrated player for that position. Not much choice for the Pistons…

Kwame sucks (considering he is drafted #1 as a Rookie.) Chris is undersized at Center (He is 6′10″, 235 lbs.) Ben is cool, but has passed his prime. Not good.

While Austin Burton, the article writer, argued that whoever starts at C in Detroit will win the worst starter award in 2010, I am actually interested in the comments on the article. Here are some that I am agreeing with, while the others are hilarious to read:

“If JR Smith doesn’t start in Denver, I would give that honor to Arron Afflalo” – agreed.

“Willie Green has had this title on lock for 2 years now. He’s almost eligible for the lifetime achievement award for this title now” – Willie is cool, but I agree he is overrated.

THE_REAL_SHAQ says: @Borgs Ericka Dampier” – This is Shaq’s real Twitter account. And he said Ericka. ROTFL! But then again, I agree to some point that Dampier does play with, um, lack of mental toughness.

…and some more comments voting for “Ericka” Dampier. It seems that, according to the NBA fans, Eric Dampier will win the worst starter award.
